Yesterday whilst sitting at Kauai with my boss and colleague we were joking around about all the apps and things one get now to keep you in touch and up to date with everyone around you - there's BBM, Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook, Gtalk, Yahoo messenger, Google+ and the list goes on and on.
After a while the conversation turned to how scary it is that people can so naively give away all their rights to privacy with recent apps that track your intimate movements and publishes it on social networking sites - telling everyone where you are "checking in" and when you had your last bowel movement...ok quite not that far, but how far off are we?
Ironically I found this article this morning which details the "datasexual" and touches on all the same topics we were so concerned about yesterday. Is it just me or is all this mindless tagging, checking in and updating slightly concerning?
