Sometimes people can surprise me...randomly going around liking things without really knowing why or what it is about. A bit like putting artificial sweetener in your coffee and having a slice of choc cake on the side...

C'mon people! Read the whole story, at least click the link and skim over the article or for Spaghetti Monster's sake do a quick Google search on the validity of what you are about to share with the rest of the world!

Garageband

So I finally decided to purchase Garageband this morning and I must say it is some bucks well spent for the amateur/wannabe musician in me.

It is actually quite a powerful app and fun to play with and experiment, but I wish wish it had a more extensive drum kit or a better way to create drum tracks.

C'mon Garageband, take a page from the Fruityloops book ;)

Darling Brew - Silverback

Brilliantly smooth, with an almost creamy feeling and a nice finish...it is a wheat beer, but definitely one I can get used to.

Random CPT afternoon

Today we hopped a MyCiti into town and after a good sandwich and some Devil's Peak brew we randomly ended up at the Iziko South African National Museum.

I must admit it was very interesting and they have a very good setup with extensive information. Loved the section on Darwin and his Cape Town travels!

After this we walked over to the SANational Gallery and was blown away by a significant photographic exhibition by an up and coming young artist. It is a collection of 100 photos ranging from inmates to corpses to interesting shots that have quite a poignant appeal to your emotions.

Definitely worth popping in at these two places for a random afternoon of cultural entertainment.
